Learning Resources Quantum Big Screen Microscope
Learning Resources Quantum Big Screen Microscope Reviews: This was purchased for a Christmas present. It looks just like the picture. The screen makes it fun for the younger sibling too but could be a little better quality. My nephew finally got this for Christmas and while he’s having fun, the images are not as great as you might expect. The color barely shows up so the images seem black and white. I think he’ll get tired of it quickly without the color.
Learning Resources Quantum Big Screen Microscope Reviews: The item was received and appeared to be in good condition. However, when I tried to use it all I saw was shadows and then the light source stopped working. The idea behind this product is great but it’s durability is poor.
Law School Trip
Law School Trip Reviews: I start law school in about a month, and have read several law school prep books. Most of them made me want to run away from law school when they weren’t boring me to death. The Law School Trip is just the opposite. I couldn’t put it down. Every time you turn the page you learn something new, and I literally found myself laughing out loud at least once every chapter.
Law School Trip Reviews: This book is a must read for any attorney or law student. McClurg is dead on with his humor and satire. But he doesn’t just make fun of the profession his humor is done with an obvious passion and respect for the world of law which makes it all the more enjoyable for those of us who have chosen this crazy world for life!! If you have any lawyers or law students in your family, they will love this book as a gift. It’s short and easy to read and will definitely put a smile on the face of anyone who has been to law school.
School Tycoon
School Tycoon Reviews: I bought this Tycoon game for my 9-year-old granddaughter for those times when she comes to visit us. She is a very intelligent young lady and learns quickly. Her older sister has the Mall Tycoon game, and she loves it as well as the 9-year-old. However, the younger one doesn’t get to play it very much, so I downloaded the product, and I sat her down at the computer with the instruction book and told her I would like her to try it by herself, but I would be nearby if she needed help.
She ran with it, and she was so excited about selling toilets in the building to make money. She was so smart, she even managed to sell a burning building. She was given a budget to build the school, equip the classrooms, hire teachers, custodians, cafeteria workers, etc., and the goal is to stay within the budget. She made out very well each time she played it, and I found out how educational it was. It teaches math, communication skills, creative skills, scheduling of meals, hiring and firing employees, buying books, appeasing students, etc. The whole time she played it, not only was she learning, but she was having fun.
High School Musical Game
High School Musical Game Reviews: My husband and I played this with our 8 year old the other day. We ended up putting the game away. If it wasn’t a gift I would return it. One of the questions was “have you ever walked in on someone hooking up”. The Truth or Dare questions were: What’s the lamest outfit you’ve ever worn. Then it says to kiss the person to your left. Another Truth or Dare is Have you ever kissed a boy. This game really surprised me since the movie was really well done.
High School Musical Game Description: The game where you play-a-long, sing-a-long and dance a-long! Earn high marks when you answer questions about the movie, strut your stuff and even sing a hit song or two. As players work their way through East High, use the interactive music CD for even more fun. Just don’t land in detention along the way. Each player tries to collect (6) different cast cards as they go from room to room, answering trivia questions and even performing. For 2 to 6 players.
Old School Bones
Old School Bones Reviews: I really liked this dark and fast paced mystery. Michael De Castro is a new kind of protagonist. The lawyer/detective/fisherman is an introspective, sensitive man who adds a deeper than usual dimension to the mystery. I’m looking forward to meeting him again in the next novel of this series.
Old School Bones Reviews: This book is light enough for a summer read but rich enough to satisfy. It is a story of intrigue in a New England private school with the issues of race, class and culture intertwining with murder and secrecy. The parallels drawn between the communities of Portuguese immigrants in New Bedford and Wampanaug natives on Cape Cod add an extra dimension to the drama and excitement of the central mystery.
High School Musical Plug and Play TV Game
High School Musical Plug and
Play TV Game Reviews: My 6-year-old daughter is a HSM fanatic so I bought her this being that she enjoys video games as well. The age recommendation on the package is 4+ which I believe is much too young. I would say the age range for this toy is 5-7; the games may be too easy for a child over the age of 7. However, the games require the child to be able to read or for Mom to read to them, especially in story mode. The graphics are rather poor and do not compare to those of Playstation, Wii, and XBox. That being said, the sound isn’t great either but a younger child won’t mind. The device itself is attractive and features pictures of Gabriella and Troy.
Sesame Street Old School
Sesame Street Old School Reviews: This DVD set is packed with classic skits that I remember as a kid. It makes me so happy to watch it with my 18 month old son and 6 month old daughter. I know they love it just as much as I do. My son does not like the new sesame street nearly as much. If the new shows are on, he will actuallay bring me the dvd, because he want’s to watch the classics instead!
Learning Resources Jumbo Magnetic Board
Learning Resources Jumbo Magnetic Board Reviews: My 6 yr. old daughter struggles with phonics and Title I suggested using the magnetic letters to practice spelling words and others that she has a hard time with. She also uses it to leave me messages.

High School Musical
High School Musical Reviews: We bought this for my daughter at Xmas, and she loves it. She has always been into singing, and she has spent many hours with this game. The only beef I have with it is the grading system seems a bit easy. Although my daughter loves getting A+’s, she got kinda bored with getting them every time. But there were some cool features such as song and dress unlocks and what not. She still has her friends come over and play this game with her.
High School Musical Reviews: Excellent Wii game. Both of my daughters and their friends love singing with the songs and then being told they are a rock star. They love hearing their voices and being able to perform either as a solo or a duet. All the words are provided on the screen so it makes it very easy to sing along.
Pretend and Play School Set
Pretend and Play School Set Reviews: This was the one present that my daughter asked for this Christmas and it has seen a good deal of use. She should have the smarted stuffed animals in town! The tri-board set up is make of a heavy nylon fabric and should be sponge washable. The teaching manipulatives are laminated and there are a substantial number of accompanying pieces, but not so many that I have found them around the house. The entire set up folds neatly and has a carrying handle. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the product and delighted that I got it for half the price listed in various children’s play specialty catalogs.
Pretend and Play School Set Reviews: I bought this for my 5 yr old niece for Christmas. She just started Kindergarten this year and loves school. She absolutely loved it. As soon as she opened it, that was all she wanted to play with. I did have to buy some dry erase markers for it but that was no big deal considering how much she loved the gift I gave her.
